Meet The Specialists
Dr. Jose Barros
Jose Francisco Barros, DDS is an endodontist specialist practicing in Miami, Florida with over 30 years of experience in the dental field. Dr. Jose Barros is owner of Endodontics Limited in Miami, Florida. Dr. Barros graduated with his doctorate in dental surgery from Emroy University, Atlanta, Georgia in 1987. He then practiced as a general dentist for a period of 10 years before pursuing his specialty in endodontics. Dr. Barros graduated with his certificate in endodontic specialty at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1999. Since having graduated from the endodontic specialty program, he has served as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University where he taught clinical and didactic courses. He is also active in his profession having served as president of the West Dade Dental Society in 2007. During his free time, Dr. Barros enjoys birdwatching especially when he visits Grand Cayman. He is an advocate and leader in bird conservation in South Florida and is the President of the Tropical Audubon Society in Miami, Florida. Dr. Michael Morgan
Michael H. Morgan, D.D.S, M.S Received his degrees including a Master of Science(MS), a certificate in periodontology and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. In private practice since 1994, Dr. Morgan has earned a reputation for excellence in implant dentistry, and especially complex cases referred to him throughout the region. Dr. Kurt Friedman, DDS
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Friedman is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. After receiving his undergraduate training at the University of Miami, he
then attended the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry and the Graduate Basic Science School. This allowed him to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and his Master of Science Degree in Anatomy.
He did his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training at the University of North Carolina and completed his Residency Training at The University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, in 1978. Dr. Friedman is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
He lectures on numerous topics involving complex dental implant surgery, and he has been given permission to operate in many South American countries by their Ministers of Health. Dr. Friedman is the developer of both the Hex Cylinder and Twist Lock Cylinder dental implant. He has served on the board of advisors of many dental implant manufacturing companies worldwide.
Dr. Friedman is presently acting Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Memorial Hospital West as well as Westside Regional Medical Centers.
