Specialist in Prosthodontics – Implantology/ Crowns/ Bridgework/ Complex cases- MDC 101 General Dental Council (GDC) UK – 69455 BDS (Manc), MFGDP (Lond), FDS RCS (Lond), MGDS RCS (Ireland), MSc (London), ILM (London), FCGDent (Lond), FFGDP (London), Cert Ment RCS Eng, FICD, Mr Sukhdeep (Suki) Murbay qualified from Manchester in 1993 then worked within the hospital and overseas for the Ministry of Health in Seychelles and Community Health in New Zealand. Upon his return to the UK he was accepted at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital for a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry in 1998. He then worked in private practice. Progressing to owning his own chain of five clinics which he eventually sold to one of the largest corporate chains in UK. He worked for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) – British Army as a dental officer prior to moving to Guernsey from where now he is based in Cayman Islands and is registered as a Specialist in Prosthodontics Implantology/ Crowns/ Bridgework/ Complex cases. Suki boasts over 30 years of experience in hospital and general practice, emphasising continual professional development with postgraduate training and various reputable qualifications. Holding a Master’s degree from formerly Guy’s Hospital, London, he excels in complex cases like implants, full mouth rehabilitation, prosthesis, root canal treatment, trauma cases, cosmetic work, complex cases such as restoring the failed restorative treatment and tooth wear cases. Also appointed Expert witness for medico-legal cases by the British Medical Experts. In the academic realm, Mr. Murbay served as a clinical tutor during his Master’s degree, contributed to teaching at Newcastle Dental School, and was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong, achieving a global top rank for the school for three consecutive years. He has also been appointed a postgraduate tutor for the Masters in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Plymouth. More recently a module tutor for the Masters (MSc) in prosthodontics and Implantology at the City of London Dental School. Currently a Specialist in Prosthodontics in private practice, focusing on implantology, crowns, bridgework, and complex cases, he is pursuing a PhD in 3D printing and Digital Dentistry, with numerous publications in reputable journals and a global patent for his dental wear simulator invention. Outside his professional life, Suki is family-oriented, passionate about travel and learning new cultures, and also serves as a football referee appointed by the Football Association (FA).
